The imperial Kathmandu Valley is sprinkled with several UNESCO World Heritage Sites and intangible heritages dating back to different centuries. Regal imprints of the ever-sovereign Nepali history are scattered around in the form of temples and palaces, mainly Narayanhiti Palace, Patan Durbar Square and Bhaktapur Durbar Square. The Pashupatinath Temple and Bodhinath Stupa are very ancient religious centres. Ghantaghar and Dharahara towers are an integral part of the city’s public life.  The terrain of the valley is favourable for horse-back riding. Nepali cuisines such as Yomari (Newar) are distinct in both preparation and taste. The Kathmandu city is all wrapped-up in culture and art.
